Stitches at Wales was founded in 2002, following many years of research into Celtic art. Using the pre-medieval traditional chain stitch methods many of the designs are brought to life from ancient religious scripts.

Using only the highest quality fabrics, such as velvet and silk, the garments and other product lines are a beautiful and unique style statement that truly reflects the very strong Celtic heritage that is bequeathed upon Wales.

We have a first class client pedigree to include aristocracy, the Anglican Church, TV as well as the more familiar retail boutiques and chains.

Furnishings range from table runners, cushions, bed throws, wall hangings, fire screens, pram quilts, footstools, bed quilts and wedding ring pillows. Fashions include waistcoats and theatre wraps.
All materials used are top quality velvets, silk dupion, taffeta and anchor threads. Choices of colours, sizes, designs and images are tailored to clients needs.Stitchesatwales also manufacture a range of craft kits that enable both the amateur and professional needle workers to embroider traditional Celtic designs onto a selection of items. We also specialise in the research and design of Vestments for various denominations which are then tailor made to client specifications.
